So basically I got one of these in the mail and I didn't know that it was for my package that I had ordered because I thought they would've delievered it straight to my house. So I ripped off the bottom portion where it said to, " seperate here" and now my dad's telling me that, that's the part the people at the post office take. So will I still be able to get my package or?

Take a copy of your receipt or confirmation email from the company you ordered from, along with your ID!

Yes, I assume you have both pieces, if so just bring them in. If you discarded the one piece just bring the remaining piece into the Post Office and explain that the two became separated and you misplaced one piece. Make sure you bring ID with you and you should be able to pick up your parcel there. The post office's job is to deliver the mail to the correct person, if you prove that you are they will let you take your parcel. Just remember that next time don't tear anything off the card, bring it in as received.
