You keep rewording the same questions over and over again.

Each question is all about how the monarchy is perceived in Canada and you asking Canadians whether we should abolish it. When you ask the same question over and over again (even if you reword it), it is considered spam, which is against the terms of service for Yahoo! Answers. So naturally people will start to get upset at your abuse of the system.

People have given you your answer already, the summary being:

1) The monarchy IS present in Canada, on our money, in photos or paintings in some federal offices.

2) The monarchy is NOT responsible for daily decision making in Canada. We are an independent country.

3) The monarchy WILL on occasion visit and they draw a considerable number of supporters, and a few anti-monarchy advocates and protests.

4) The reigning monarch CAN on occasion address the Canadian people, as the Queen did after signing the declaration in 1982 that brought the Canadian Constitution (originally established in 1867) back to Canada.

You can learn all you need to know about the monarchy in Canada by using the two links below. There should really be no need to ask more questions on an almost daily basis for the same issue when someone has given you the answers already. So if you do, we know your true colours are not to try and get an answer for this question. You will have ulterior motives.

Your disrespect of July 1 to the great people of Newfoundland is a disgrace. Considering they where still a British Colony Officially at the time. As I told you earlier if you need the Queen's day to day activities I have given you her address. If that is not enough I can give you her phone number as well. I am sure her assistants would love to chat with you. Stop by their Office at #8 Broadway in London someone will look after you.

Its not a matter of mad as much as a matter of knowing your questions are clearly designed to exasparate and "poke the bear" about an issue that really isn't an issue except in your mind.

As to what HRM does on Canada day, I'd imagine it's like any other day for her, just as it is for many of us here too. About the only exception would be that her official greeting to Canada on Canada Day is delivered to the people.

If I'm not mistaken, that was the visit she ended up stranded on our Red River near The Forks when the Water Bus broke down...or was it the Assiniboine.....

meh...the rest of the July ones are probably tea & crumpets

Travel questions go in the Travel section.

Royalty questions go in the Royalty section.

You can't pretend you don't know that Jamie/Eric/Maurice/Etc.

You've been asking question in Royalty after getting told off for posting them here.

So why are you spamming Travel with monarchy questions yet again?

Didn't someone already report you for that?

You are a sad sad man aren`t you? I mean like everyone know`s you are 30 year old virgin/Eric/Maurice/JamieB. Seriously get out of your moms basement, go get a job for one and a life, heck maybe even a girlfriend. Your questions at first were funny but quite frankly its old and annoying now. I know it gets you off which makes this all the more sadder.

Those three get cross because they're monarchists and every time this subject is brought up, they are at a risk of losing people to the republican side.

No, she does not send greetings.

The Queen has rarely ever visited Canada on Canada day and the fact is, most don't care. Some are happy that she's not coming (like some republicans) because it shows that our head of state (sadly, she is) is shared amongst many countries and if she DID come, we'd bare the costs. One republican argument is that we need a head of state who represents US and ONLY US when they go abroad, something not present with Queen Elizabeth II. It would be present with republican president who resides in Canada, however.

She doesn't have any special Canada Day celebrations/commemorations in London cause 1) she doesn't think much about Canada and 2) the British taxpayer would have to pay for it, and they wouldn't be very happy about that.

Also, like I said, I'm happy that she doesn't come often cause taxpayers have to foot the bill.

I mean, in the 21st century, what self-respecting country has its own head of state VISIT them ever few years?

Hope this answers your question.
