Canada Post package stuck in Mississauga?

I sent a package and paid extra for express going from BC to Guelph Ontario. The package arrived in Mississauga and was stuck there for 4 days and didnt move. The next notification I got was that it was sent back to Richmond BC, which is our provincial sorting depot. A few days after that it was sent again back to Mississauga. Its been stuck here again and hasn't moved for two weeks. I of course have been calling to scream at Canada Post and they have no information for me as to WHY this is happening. They "opened a case" and said my expected explanation is July 4 th. Which is more than a month after i sent this package.

What the hell gives? They think refunding the shipping fixes everything in the end? I don't have a lot of reviews as a new eBay seller and can't afford the negative reviews for something that's not even my fault! Ive already spent hours and days between contacting Canada Post and the buyer. And not even a hint as to why this is happening. Does anyone have an idea why it bounced between two depots on opposite sides of the country and why its still in Mississauga? ?

Of course it's impossible to say, as we have even less information than you do! My only suggestion is that either a) you have just been the victim of a relatively rare technical error in Canada Post's distribution system, where your package got routed to the wrong place or pulled out of the system entirely. The other possibility b) is that there is some problem with the address, and Canada Post doesn't know exactly how to deliver it.

of course have been calling to scream at Canada Post

Suggest you try being Polite. The person answering the phone is TRYING TO HELP you. They are not holding your parcel in their lap.

The ADDRESS on the Parcel may have errors. For example you have a wrong street name or have reversed digits.

The label could be damaged. The Post Office moves millions of parcels .

Mistakes do happen . Sadly they are human and make mistakes. I know you never do.

They are investigating. They do not deliberately pile up YOUR mail for fun. Mail that misses a machine sort does eventually go to a HUMAN that tries to figure out where it is to go.

wrong postal code, unreadable address, address does not exist, pick a reason. Try to be polite - they are trying to help you

This is why you ALWAYS state on your eBay site "Not responsible for shipping issues due to postal system".
