Do farmers raise cattles and sheep together at the same ranch or at different, separate ranches in Canada? Does anybody know?

There are very few sheep farms, or ranches in Canada.

Generally, sheep can graze land that cattle have already grazed, as they eat things that cattle don't eat, and, they graze much closer to the ground. However, I don't personally know of anyone who raises both on the same farm.

Cattle and sheep have to be raised in separate grazing areas because sheep crop the grass very near the ground, which means there is no grass for the cattle [plural without the s] to eat. Cattle vs. sheep created some vicious range wars before barbed wire came along.

They tend to specialize in one or the other, it's cheaper
