Canada & the US have the same country code of 1. If calling in Canada or the US long distance you use 1 then the 3 digit area code, then the 7 digit number.
If you are calling from outside the US & Canada it is usually 001

There is no need to use a country code between the US and Canada, since the code for all of North America is the same.(1). You only need to use this country code, then area code, and phone number when calling from oversea countries.

001, same as U.S.
which means in North America, you dial 1 - (area code) - 7-digit telephone number
several areacodes are Canadian like I believe 415 is Ontario, 204 is Manitoba, not sure about others

Do you mean for telephone calls? It should be in the front page of your phone book
