What is Expedited Parcels delivery?

I bought an item from Best Buy and they said it would be shipped today and then I checked on Canada Posts website by putting in my tracking number and it said it had already been delivered and no one came to my house to give it. Is Expedited Parcel delivery something I have to go pick up or is it something they deliver to your house?

Expedited delivery just means that it is shipped to you with miminal delays. It doesn't wait around for the cheapest way that Canada Post can get that parcel delivered, but they also do not guarantee delivery in a set time frame.



Are you sure the tracking said it had been "Delivered to recipient"? If so, you should contact Canada Post to inquire about it. If the parcel shipped from Best Buy Canada, it may have been delivered to a designated store. Or it could be delivered to your local Canada Post office if the parcel size does not fit in a community mailbox.



Check Canada Post's website about how to read the tracking info. If you think there is a problem and the parcel is long overdue (I mean a week, not just a day or two), then check with them.

Expedited parcels get delivered to where ever you send them.

You may want to check with them and see if they left the package at a local post office. That's what's typically done if no one's at home at the time of delivery. Or they may try to re deliver in a day or two.
