Depends on the size of the parcel, if it will fit in your mailbox then it will go there, if it does not then it is either placed at your door or you will get notice to go pick it up at the local post office.

Answer these questions:
Is a signature required?
Is there duty fees required?
Is it larger than your mailbox?
Answering yes to any of those means that if you are not home, they will leave you a card with information of how to pick it up.
