This is one of those 'trick' questions that teachers love to put on tests. The largest city in Alberta is Calgary - but the capital is Edmonton. Many people think the capital is the largest city, but in Alberta - and in BC, as well, that isn't the case.

First off, "alberta" has a capital "A" because it is the name of a province. Second, Calgary is the largest city in Alberta. Third, it's not "alberta in canada" - the correct way is "Alberta, Canada"! Good luck on your Grade 3 project...
