What does this mean: Goods That Canada could import from this country?

Hey everybody. I have a social studies project, and I was wondering if there is anyone out there, that can really help me out!
My project is on Michigan. One of the questions is:

Goods That Canada could import FROM this country?
I was wondering, if anyone reasonably intelligent may be able to help define the meaning, and possibly give me a site I can check out, that will give me CURRENT information?
The project is due on Monday, AND I will give as much points to whoever gives the best answer. That is fair isn't it?
Please,
help.

Well, the question means you´d need to find out which products (from agriculture, industry etc.) MICHIGAN can have to SELL to CANADA. Right? For example: Brazil produces much sugar cane; Canada doesn´t; so maybe or probably Canada could/should/must import sugar cane from Brazil. Nevertheless Canada perhaps has other kind of sugar (and has, maple [syrup] - isn´t it?), so maybe Canada doesn´t need to import sugar cane neither from Brazil nor from Cuba or other. Now perhaps Michigan produces computers, or knitting coats, or salt, while Canada doesn´t. So Canada COULD import them from Michigan. You could then inform the way those goods are processed, how exports from Michigan are made and so on. OK?

Now, from Google (try to read something else also in these sites):

YOU MAY help somebody earn UP TO 12 POINTS ONLY. This is to WHOEVER YOU FIND BETTER (2 points not given by you, but for the fact that the person has given ANY answer, either good or bad + 10 points if his/her answer is chosen BY YOU as the best one + the number of stars that you judge that answer deserves, from 1 to 5. Right?) Anyway it doesn´t mean practically ANY THING at all. We´re here just to learn and interchange some knowledge as well as to have some amusement or just fill our spare time. Earning many points is useful in the beginning, 'cause later you can then rate other answers and have no limit of answers per day and so, nothing else, nothing special. I don´t consider this as a game or a match. OK?

Good project, good luck!

First of all, Michigan is not a country. If your project is on Michigan, you have to straighten your teacher out on the difference between a state and country.

Michigan is an exporter of Cherries and Apples. Several automobiles are made in Michigan that are not made in Canada. Many automotive parts assembled in Canada are manufactured in Michigan. Oil drilling equipment is imported to Canada, Bomabadier imports many of its parts from the US. Airplanes are imported from the US. Trains are imported from the US. All trucks light duty and heavy duty, and commercial trucks are imported from the US. (Ford Ontario truck plant was shut down). Clothes are imported from the US. Many TV's are assembled in Asia, but are imported from the US. Ipods, cell phones. Computers. Many are assembled in Asia, but eventually get distributed by the US companies from the US to Canada.
